Montclair State University is now offering graduate-level, summer “bootcamp” courses in computer science. The accelerated, fully online program can be completed during two, eight-week summer sessions. Open to Montclair State and visiting students from other institutions, the computer science foundation courses will give students an introduction to the field of information technology.
The coursework is designed for those who want to gain credentials in information technology, those seeking additional coursework for professional growth and career advancement and individuals who want to make a career change into information technology.

After completing the courses, students may be eligible to pursue an advanced degree in Information Technology which focuses on the management and implementation of information technology to support today’s business, industry or government work environments. Students will learn how communications, management, legal considerations and other desirable workplace skills are integrated with information technology to facilitate successful application of technology in any organization.
