Top-Ranked Softball Sweeps No. 23 TCNJ in Extra-Innings

Red Hawks remain unbeaten at 26-0

The top-ranked Montclair State University softball team swept a double-header against The College of New Jersey on April 13 with a pair of thrilling 2-1, extra-inning wins.

The Red Hawks are undefeated at 26-0 (10-0 NJAC) and are ranked No. 1 in the nation for NCAA Division III. The 26 wins to open the season ties the program record for longest winning streak set in 2008 and is the second-longest behind the 2012-13 women’s basketball squad which won 29 in a row.
